Dear Families, Partners, and Friends:
As an organization that serves and employs families of medically fragile children, Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is committed to doing its part to protect our community during this health crisis. In response, FRCD has advised staff to work remotely effective immediately. The staff has also been advised to minimize face-to-face meetings and contacts and cancel all upcoming FRCD events scheduled for the coming weeks.
During this time, we will continue to be available as a resource for families and the professionals that serve them. Here’s how:
Our staff is available to support families, educators, and health professionals by phone and email. Please call — (312) 939-3513 for assistance. If our Parent Trainers are not available to take your call, please leave a detailed message, including the best number for us to reach you. We are returning calls as soon as possible, usually within 48 hours.
- Workshops and trainings are being offered virtually on multiple platforms. Visit the home page of this site for the calendar of upcoming events. In the meantime, check out the COVID-19 Resource. Click here to see the FRCD COVID-19 RESOURCE PAGE.

- FRCD’s management team will continue to assess new information and events to determine when we can return to normal or how long we may need to extend this emergency action. We will keep you posted on any major changes.
