Research Survey About Parents of Young Children With Language and Communication Delays.

illinois at urbana champaignParents, you are invited to participate in a research study through which we are hoping to learn about what parents do to support the language and communication development of their young children with language and communication delays. We request your participation, if you have a child who is:

  • 1. 5 years old or younger (born after March 1st , 2010)
  • 2. Has a delay in language and communication skills or a disability that affects your child’s language and communication development
  • 3. Has English as his/her primary language
  • 4. Currently lives in Illinois If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a 15-20 minute online survey. Your participation in this study does not involve any risk to you beyond that of everyday life and we believe your input is important to helping the field of special education understand what parents do to support language and communication skills of their young children with language delays.
